He is a Registered Psychologist with a Doctoral Degree in Applied Psychology: Counselling from University of Toronto (1992), a Master in Education, Applied Psychology from the University of Toronto (1987) and a Dottorato in Psicologia from the Universita’ degli Studi di Parma, Italy (1985).
He is registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario and he is practicing Counselling, Rehabilitation and Forensic/Rehabilitation psychology. His doctoral degree was completed with a dissertation on chronic headaches. In his clinic he has provided direct and supervised services to claimants recovering from motor vehicle, injured worker, first responders, people in trouble with the justice system, people with major mental health issues, substance use victims, as well as to people affected by chronic pain and traumatic experiences. He has provided consulting services such as group therapy, psychological diagnosis with opinions and recommendation for intervention as well as developing psychological policies to many agencies such as Workers Compensation and Insurance Board (WSIB) and other, non-profit organizations in the community. His area of competency includes traumatic responses, disability assessments, substance user, sex offenders, major mental health victims and their rehabilitation, adult and adolescents. He has conducted independent psychological examinations for the defence and psychological assessments for plaintiffs under FSCO guidelines, as well as provide expert opinions to the Courts and CAS.

He holds a Transactional Analysis (TA) Practitioner Certificate as well he is certified for Using the Ontario Domestic Assault Risk Assessment (ODARA); he is qualified to provide Capacity and Catastrophic assessments.
